Jinkee admits hurt, but loves Manny ‘Unconditionally’

Posted by dailynewtrends

After a controversial marital spat two years ago, Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao indicated they have moved on and that their bond as husband and wife has become stronger.

"Masaya naman ako at lahat naman tayo nagpapatawad. Okay naman, wala namang problema," Manny said in an interview with ABS-CBN's "Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN)" on Tuesday, June 7.

Last Sunday, ABS-CBN's "The Buzz" interviewed Jinkee, who said she had already moved on from that hurtful episode in her life and that she's happy that their family is together. "Lalong naging close kami. Sa lahat naman ng pinagdadaanan, you learn from it. And then, yung love namin sa isa't isa, parang nadaragdagan pa. Masaya kami na buo ang pamilya," Jinkee said.

In 2009, as he was preparing for a title fight against Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas, Manny was rumored to have an affair with actress Krista Ranillo, his co-star in his Metro Manila Film Festival Entry that year, "Wapakman." TMZ video of the two inside Manny's car as the world's number one pound-for-pound boxer was leaving the ABC studios after an appearance in the late night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" resulted in a maelstrom of controversy that became the biggest challenge to their nine-year-old marriage then. Both Manny and Krista denied the reports.

Pacquiao has large edge over Marquez

Posted by dailynewtrends

MANILA, Philippines - Bob Arum stated there isn’t any question that Manny Pacquiao would be the huge and overwhelming favorite against Juan Manuel Marquez.

Which both previous fights together, both close and questionable, at 126 and 130 pounds, won’t matter so far as the chances for that third one can be involved.

“Because everyone has become convinced how great Manny Pacquiao is,” stated Arum inside a telephone call he earned from La yesterday morning.

Besides, Marquez is going to be facing Pacquiao inside a weight class he is not suited to.

Your dream is placed November. 12 in Vegas with Pacquiao staking the WBO welterweight crown he won against Miguel Cotto, and defended against Joshua Clottey and Shane Mosley.

Marquez has fought against only one time over 140 pounds, and that he required a uneven loss against Floyd Mayweather last year. Against Pacquiao, in a catchweight of 144, he’ll maintain for any harder time.

“They (oddsmakers) haven’t published it yet. However it will truly rely on the first betting,” stated Arum, adding that although it may be pretty close, it can’t be pretty even.

Pacquiao, Marquez fight goes global

Posted by dailynewtrends

MANILA, Philippines — Manila. Tokyo. London. New York. Los Angeles. Mexico City. Six cities, five countries, three continents.

From the way it looks, it’s an itinerary of a rock band on a tour. But it’s not.

It’s the calendar of Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum as he prepares the promotional tour of the Nov. 12 rubber match starring Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.

“We’re going worldwide,” Arum told the Bulletin on Friday from Washington as he was attending a function in honor of his late son John who died during a climbing accident last year.

Arum said the six-city press tour will begin in August and Manila will be the jump-off point for what the Top Rank big boss said “will be the biggest Manny Pacquiao fight ever.”

“I am going to call my good friend Jorge Araneta to see if the Araneta Coliseum will be available (on a date we are planning to hold it),” said Arum, who played a key role in staging the 1975 Thrilla in Manila at the Big Dome in close coordination with Don King.

“We will hold the first in Manny’s home country then will end it in Marquez’s,” said Arum

Arum had initially mentioned that the tour will only cover Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, San Antonio (Texas) and Mexico City, but a development the last ten days has compelled the 79-year-old Harvard-educated lawyer to alter the original program.
